About

The Digital Strategy Office is responsible for designing and overseeing HES‐SO Geneva’s digital strategy. This strategy is structured around five pillars, or areas of action, and is guided by a set of core principles that reflect the institution’s values.

5 pillars

  1. An ethical and responsible framework for digital use, ensuring integrity, sustainability, transparency in digital practices, and governance adapted to digital challenges.
  2. The development of digital skills and practices, strengthening digital literacy and supporting all stakeholders in the active and critical adoption of digital tools.
  3. The evolution of learning and assessment practices, through the integration of flexible, hybrid, and student‐centred approaches.
  4. Technological innovation, infrastructure, equipment, and digital solutions, providing the institution with modern infrastructure and fostering interdisciplinary research.
  5. The strengthening of the ecosystem, communities, and institutional outreach, by developing internal and external collaborations and positioning HES‐SO Geneva as a leading actor in digital transformation and innovation.

The Digital council

The Digital Strategy Office (BSN) is supported in its mission by the Digital Council. The Council is responsible for identifying and prioritizing digital needs, particularly in the areas of teaching, research, and digital innovation.
Working closely together, these two bodies ensure the effective implementation of the digital strategy across all schools and institutions that make up HES‐SO Geneva.
